UN calls for humanitarian agencies to access Sri Lanka

The United Nations Children's Agency says regular, safe access for humanitarian agencies is needed to provide lifesaving supplies to the children caught in Sri Lanka's conflict.

UNICEF says in light of a critical lack of food, water and medicines, children and their families caught in the conflict zone are at risk of dying from disease and malnutrition.
