Taiwan offer university places to Chinese students

In another sign of improving relations, Taiwan has announced it'll allow Chinese students to attend its universities.
Taiwan's Ministry of Education says it'll recognise the degrees of 41 Chinese universities, allowing those students to study in the self-governed state. It'll be the first time Taiwan would admit students from the mainland but the plan has attracted criticism from indepdence groups.
