Wen Jiabao upbeat on China's economic recovery

China's Premier Wen Jiabao has used the opening session of the National People's Congress to warn that the global economy is not out of the woods yet.
But he praised the way his country had emerged from the World Economic Crisis, predicting the Chinese economy would grow at around 8 per cent this year. He also said China needed to make energy-saving a good habit with ordinary people, in order to reduce emissions and improve environmental protection.
