Indonesia confirms death of Bali Bomber

Earlier in the day President Yudohoyono spoke at a official lunch at Parliament House and part way through was handed a piece of paper by one of his aides.

He later announced that one of the three suspected terrorists killed in a raid on Tuesday WAS Dulmatin - a key figure in Jemaah Islamiyah who is suspected of being involved in the Bali Bombing. If does turn out to be Dulmatin, the leading expert on JI says it's a significant blow to Islamist extremism in the region.
