Asian leaders unite against financial crisis

The leaders of Asia's three biggest economies have pledged to cooperate to control the damage wrought by the global financial crisis.
China, Japan and South Korea pledged on the weekend, to drum up funding, to serve as an engine to revive the world economy. Japan's Prime Minister Taro Aso hosted his Chinese counterpart, Wen Jiabao, and South Korean President Lee Myung-bak in the city of Fukuoka. The three countries account for three-quarters of Asia's total gross domestic product.
