Thai farmers turning back the clock and helping the environment

In Thailand, where despite the turbulent politics and protests, the agrarian rhythm of the land continues.

And one pioneering educational project combines a return to tradition, with a greener way to farm. For centuries the water buffalo worked the fields on Thai farms but as the country modernised, buffaloes were replaced by machines. But now, the gentle beasts are back, but first they have to re-learn the lost art of ploughing -- and that means heading back to school.
