Year of the Ox welcomed in Australia

Chinese Asians have welcomed the arrival of the Year of the Ox and celebrating the Lunar New Year .. which is also observed in Vietnam as 'Tet'.
In China alone, an estimated 200-million people have travelled to visit family and friends to see in the Year of the Ox. Amid the feasting and merriment, they've also let off fireworks and firecrackers, to scare away evil spirits and welcome the God of Wealth into their homes. And the Chinese and Vietnamese diaspora across the world, from London to New York and in the Pacific, and marking this most auspicious of days on the calendar.
