Singapore promotes 'no frills housing'

In Singapore, where housing has always been a hot political issue.

And in keeping with these recessionary times, Singapore's government is considering building cheaper, more affordable public flats. The so-called 'No Frills Housing' is being proposed for new estates, with basic amenities, but very little else ..
