Fears women candidates to lose out in Indonesian elections

As Indonesia prepares for general elections on April 9th women candidates are working hard to make a difference in politics.

The number of women parliamentarians rose slightly in the 2004 elections. Now, some women candidates fear that amending the 2008 Legislative Election Law by scrapping article 214, may lead to fewer female MPs in parliament.
