Indonesia calls for crisis fund for developing nations

Mr Wirajuda's visit coincided with a decision by the two nations to begin negotiations for a bilateral free trade agreement.
Indonesia will be entering two nation talks for only the second time - its first bilateral trade agreement was signed just last year with Japan. In another sign of the blossoming economic relationship, Jakarta hopes to gain Australia's support for a proposal its taking to the G20 meeting in London in April. It wants the committment of rich nations for a bigger international fund to support developing countries through the global financial crisis.
