Philippine proposal to rehabilitate mothballed nuke plant

In the Philippines groups from environmentalists to the Catholic church are protesting against a proposal to rehabilitate a mothballed nuclear power plant.
Congressman Mark Cojuangco is asking for one billion dollars in government fund to activate the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant which never saw the light of day since its completion in 1984.
At the root of the opposition are not only safety issues but concerns about corruption.
