China could be on the moon by 2020

Experts in China claim the country is capable of sending astronauts to moon by the year 2020.

China watchers say Beijing's huge spending on its space program will not be affected by the global financial crisis. But China's regional competitors are strapped for cash and rethinking the timetables of their own shots at space glory.
