Moves to improve aged care in Australia

Caring for our elders is an issue most of us have to face at some point in our lives.
Here in Australia, 180 thousand older Australians live in nursing homes and the population ages, that number is set to rise. And there are concerns nursing homes won't be able to attract the staff they need, because nurses at nursing homes, are paid considerably less than nurses working in hospitals. The nurses' union, the Australian Nursing Federation this week launched their national campaign, 'Because We Care'.
