Public anger in China over Rio Tinto-BHP Biliton deal

Rio Tinto's joint venture with rival BHP Billiton is attracting criticism around the world - not least in China - with the merger of iron ore operations of the two mining giants being called a monopoly.

It faces competition challenges in several jurisdictions. And there's also public anger in China over the collapse of an earlier offer by Chinalco to come to Rio's rescue.
