Big pharma teaming up with generic drug producers

Fights over cheap medicines for patients in poor countries have shown the uglier sides of the pharmaceutical business.

This has been especially intense in the area of generic drugs. These are cheaper versions of medicines which once were sold for higher prices by leading pharmaceutical companies. Big companies often tried to stop the generic drugs from eating their profits. But now one of the biggest medicine companies in the world, has teamed up with a large largest generic drug manufacturer in India.. so might this be a change of heart by big business?
