Heatwave in India kills 120 and causes protests

A blistering heatwave in India has killed at least 120 people, as officials warn that deficient rainfall may result in lower agricultural output and higher food prices.

Soaring temperatures accompanied by power outages and water shortages sparked off angry protests in the capital, New Delhi.
