Australian politicians discuss safety of foreign students

The problems confronting international students in Australia will be on the agenda at a meeting of state and federal government representatives in the northern city of Darwin.
Among other issues, the ministers will discuss ways to make Australia safer for foreign students, following a series of attacks in Sydney and Melbourne. This comes as an official Australian delegation prepares to leave for India this week, where they will try to allay Indian parents' concerns about the welfare of their children studying in Australia.
