Two big banks ignore Australian money laundering rules

Two international banks are being diciplined for failing to comply with Australia's Anti-money Laundering and Counter terrorism Act.

The British based Barclays and the Chinese bank Mega have failed to send regular reports to the Australian government watchdog, AUSTRAC. AUSTRAC investigates money laundering and terrorism finance.
