Australian town set to outlaw bottled water

Updated July 8, 2009 10:23:39

A town on the east coast of Australia is set to be the first place in the world to ban the sale of water in plastic bottles.

Bundanoon's taken the dramatic step because of anger at a proposal to source supplies for the $AUD500 million a year industry from the local environment.
