Indonesian election campaign shows secular trend

Indonesia's parliamentary elections in April were seen as a victory for secularism in the country with world's largest Muslim population.
Support for Islamic parties declined sharply then, and some analysts were quick to equate those results with the diminishing influence of hardline Islam in Indonesian politics. However, radical elements do continue.
