Chinese companies dominate Fortune 500 list

A record number of Chinese state-owned companies appeared on this year's Fortune 500 list.

China's rise comes as the number of US companies on the list falls dramatically. Analysts say Beijing's economic stategy to consolidate industry players, and the global financial crisis, have played a role in China's dominance.
