Gloria Arroyo's future a talking point for media in Philippine

The Philippines President Gloria Arroyo has hit back at her critics, saying she has never sought to extend her term in office.

But few believe that last night's state of the nation address will be her last. Protesters were on the streets of the capital yesterday demanding that she show her hand, but Mrs Arroyo has left the question open.
