Thai 'Red Shirts' mark three years since military coup

Thousands of supporters of former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra braved heavy rain on the weekend, as they marked the third anniversary of the military coup that ousted the former leader from power.
The so-called "Red Shirts" had earlier listened to a speech by the exiled billionaire, in which he warned that Thailand was becoming a failed state. An estimated 26,000 protestors took part in the Bangkok rally.
