Local reporters increasingly at risk in conflict zones

Local journalists employed by international news organizations frequently risk jail, kidnapping and death to bring us the news from the world's hotspots.

The balance between daring reporting and responsibility for staff is a delicate one, both for the employer and for the reporters themselves.
