China's dramatic cultural shift since founding

Ahead of this week's 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the nation is reflecting on decades of political turbulence.

There's been famine, the Great Leap Forward, persecution during the Cultural Revolution, the brutal crushing of student demonstrators at Tiananmen in 1989 and most recently, phenomenal economic growth.
