Australia mulls fresh solutions to people smuggling

The Australian government is considering a new set of proposals to boost its campaign against people smuggling.
While the government has agreed to compensate Indonesia for each asylum seeker dealt with on Indonesian soil, it's understood that other plans costing tens of millions of dollars have also been drafted by government departments in Canberra.
