ASEAN summit getting under way amid tight security

ASEAN countries will inaugurate their first regional human rights agency, when they meet in the town of Hua Hin in Thailand.
The Thai Prime Minister, Abhisit Vejjajiva, is going all out to impress with air force helicopters on standby and security forces thick on the ground, ready to tackle any trouble. Mr Abhisit is haunted by the events of last April, when regional leaders had to be evacuated after protesters breached security lines and stormed the summit venue.
