Nursing in the Pakistan conflict zone
Updated
Pakistan's south Waziristan region resembles a war zone, as the military continues its offensive against the Taliban. The army last weekend claimed a victory in the key Taliban town of Kotkai, after days of bombardments.
Kotkai was home to top Taliban leader Hakimullah Mehsud, but journalists have been denied access to the area. An estimated 100-thousand civilians have fled the conflict zone, while the International Red Cross reports many are already flooding into the nearby city of Peshawar.
