Fair access to health care critical to the world's poorest

A leading public health expert has called for a new international pact to improve the health and survival capacity of the world's poorest people.
Georgetown University's Lawrence Gostin has proposed what he calls a "Global Plan for Justice." He says its core mission would be to ensure fair allocation of scarce vaccines and health care, to meet basic survival needs, and to mitigate the health impacts of climate change.
