Two charged amid fears of Thai royal succession crisis
Updated
Two people have been charged with spreading false information on the internet about the health of Thailand's 81-year-old King, who has been in hospital since mid-September with a lung infection and fever.
Rumours about his health last month sent the stock market plunging, and observers say the arrests are part of a crackdown on any discussion about the King's role in Thailand, amid fears of a succession crisis.
Presenter: Joanna McCarthy.
Speaker: Dr Andrew Walker, Australian National University's College of Asia and the Pacific; Bob Broadfoot, Managing Director, Political and Economic Risk Consultancy, Hong Kong
