President hands nuclear keys to Prime Minister

To the epicentre of the war against terrorism, and Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari has relinquished control of the country's nuclear arsenal, in what's seen as another step towards empowering parliament.
The President's office says control of the arsenal has moved from the presidency to Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani. Observers say President Zardari is deflecting increasing unpopularity, by honouring election promises to devolve greater powers to parliament. The decision comes, as an amnesty protecting President Zardari and key aides from corruption cases expired.
