Health warnings on Asian stem cell treatments

Health experts are concerned about the risk thousands of people are taking part in stem cell treatments in countries such as China, Thailand, Russia, Germany and Mexico.
The International Society for Stem Cell Research says there are 700 clinics around the world offering unproven therapies for conditions such as Parkinson's disease, childhood blindness, Lupus and spinal cord injury. Medical scientists describe the phenomenon as Stem cell tourism.
