A Papua New Guinea Board of Inquiry into the escape of Australian fugitive Julian Moti from PNG to the Solomon Islands last year is due to present its findings today.

The board was set up last December to find out how a PNG military plane was used to help Mr Moti avoid extradition to Australia.

The search for who was responsible for ordering the clandestine flight of Julian Moti to the Solomon Islands has dominated PNG headlines.

High-ranking government officials have blamed one another while the PNG prime minister has refused to appear before the board of inquiry.
