Clement has been working as an Asia Pacific specialist for the ABC for over 17 years. He began presenting Radio Australia programs, charting the region during a period of seminal economic reforms in Asia. Clement then worked on ABC rural and national radio programs. He returned to Radio Australia to produce the flagship Pacific Beat program as Melanesia experienced instability and recovery in the 2000s. Clement has worked as host on Radio Australia’s mid-morning program and co-presents the TV program Pacific Pulse on Australia Network. An Indo-Fijian, he takes a keen interest in India and does occasional travel writing.
