Australia's High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea says he's very concerned an Australian aid adviser may have been attacked for fighting corruption.

Last month, a male adviser to the National AIDS Council Secretariat was seriously injured during a car jacking in Port Moresby. On Sunday the Council's director, Wep Kanawi, was also bashed during a car jacking outside his home. The attacks come amid a restructure of the organisation after years of maladministration and several people have been sacked.

Presenter: Liam Fox
