Amphetamine use soars in Southeast Asia

Amphetamine use soars in Southeast Asia

A new report by the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime has revealed half of all of the world's amphetamine users live in East and South East Asia.

The report says methamphetamine pill seizures in Southeast Asia quadrupled from 32 million in 2008 to 133 million last year.
