For nearly a year and a half, the Australian founder and editor in chief of whistle-blowing website Wikileaks, Julian Assange, has been under house arrest. He'll learn within weeks whether the UK Supreme Court will allow his extradition to Sweden to face allegations of sexual misconduct.
 

Phil Kafcaloudes spoke with Julian Assange's mother, Christine Assange who is currently in Melbourne to be part of a forum and discussion panel called "Wikileaks, Assange and Defending Democracy".
