The United Nations' Human Development Report 2010 has included the Federated States of Micronesia for the first time.

The United Nations' Human Development Index has ranked countries on health, education and income since 1990.

The report ranks FSM 103 out of 169 countries and this is below the regional average.

Knut Ostby, UNDP Resident Representative, says FSM didn't have enough data in previous years to be included.

Presenter: Geraldine Coutts

Speaker: Knut Ostby, UNDP Resident Representative and UN Resident Coordinator
