High Level defence and security talks between Australia and the U.S in Perth

In Perth, high level defence and security talks between Australia and the US  will focus on the shifting emphasis on the Asia Pacific to both nations.

 

The Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, Defense Minister Stephen Smith and Foreign Minister Bob Carr will join U.S Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta for the annual AUSMin talks - and will focus on increased military co-operation in the region.
