The U-S Secretary of State has arrived in Hawaii - the first stop of her two-week Asia Pacific tour.

It's her sixth visit to the region since she took office 21 months ago.

After Hawaii, Ms Clinton will visit Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Australia and American Samoa in the Pacific and she has four stop-offs planned in Asia - Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Cambodia, and Malaysia.

She made the first speech of her trip at the Kahala hotel in Honolulu and afterwards reporter Kayla Rosenfeld spoke to Geraldine Coutts about its contents.
