In Pakistan former international cricketer Imran Khan is suddenly being seen as a serious political force.

Mr Khan's Movement for Justice party holds no seats in parliament and he has been considered a fringe player on national affairs.

But that has changed after the anti-government rally he fronted on Monday drew a crowd of between 100 and 150 thousand people.

Commentators say the large turn out shows Mr Khan's influence is growing, particularly over young people.

Presenter: Cameron Wilson
