India's film industry is starting to look at overseas markets.

This follows the success of the Vinod Chopra directed movie "Three Idiots" in China.

Industry figures say they hope more Hindi-language films will be released in China, which only allows a few foreign movies to be shown each year.

Mumbai-based film critic Meenakshi Shedde says it's taken a while for Bollywood to look at the rest of the world as a possible market, but it does seem to be finally happening.
