Malaysia's Islamic banking sector is looking to expand and has its eyes on Australia.

The country has one of the most developed Islamic finance sectors and is the largest issuer of Islamic bonds in the world. Its banking reforms have also opened opportunities for foreign investors and new licences are in the offing.
