Nauru hunger strike intensifies

To the escalating situation with asylum seekers in Australian immigration detention in Nauru, where an asylum seeker who's been on hunger strike at the Nauru detention centre for the last seven weeks has been sent to Australia for treatment. 

Supporters say the man known as Omid is originally from Iran and began the hunger strike as a protest against  the lack of information on how long his processing would take.
