Despite a change in MPs in Nauru after the weekend election, it is still to early to tell if caretaker President Marcus Stephen will have the numbers to form a working government.

Saturday's election was the second in Nauru in two months, after the April poll resulted in a nine a side deadlock in the 18 seat parliament. With the budget needing to be passed, just over a week ago President Stephen declared a state of emergency, and called this latest election with a week's notice. In theory the oppostion lost one of its members. But the new MP, Milton Dube has not yet declared who he will be supporting.

Nauru pro Government MP, Doctor Kieran Keke: Baron Waqa, Leader of Nauru's opposition and alternative government .
