New program empowers deaf students in Chuuk, Micronesia

New program empowers deaf students in Chuuk, Micronesia

Access to education is an ongoing issue in the Pacific, especially for students with disabilities or special needs.

But Chuuk High School in the Federated States of Micronesia is hoping to make a difference for children who are deaf, with help from two volunteers from US-based NGO Deaf WorldTeach.
