A Danish study has found that women may be able to predict their fertility based on the age their mother experienced menopause.

An early menopause meant a significant drop in number of eggs in their daughters' ovaries, meaning they'll have fewer chances of conceiving.

Dr Karin Hammarberg, who wrote IVF for Dummies, talks to Phil Kafcaloudes about the study's findings.

She also clarifies misconceptions many people have about fertility and the promise of IVF.
