Protests continue across Egypt

To Egypt now where there are growing fears of renewed political chaos following last week's power grab by the Muslim Brotherhood President, Mohammad Morsi.

On Thursday President Morsi issued a sweeping decree giving himself effective control of the judiciary and the unchallenged ability to make laws.

The move has prompted days of protests, which have seen one person killed, 10 people injured and an on-going strike by the country's judges.
 
President Morsi now says the powers will be only temporary, until the establishment of a new constitution, and is due to meet striking judges later.
