Sheedy defends decision to poach Falau from NRL

He's a top rugby league player will he be able to apply his skills to the A-F-L? Israel Folau - or Isileli Folau as he's known in Tonga - has just signed up with the new Greater Western Sydney team.

The 21-year-old Brisbane Broncos star has reportedly signed a 4-year deal worth over 3 million Australian dollars. The man responsible for luring him over Greater Western Sydney Coach Kevin Sheedy says it's part of an attempt to find new talent, that will also take them around the Pacific and to New Zealand.
