Pacific nations threatened by sea level rise might have to consider transferring their historical archives to another country for safekeeping.

That's an idea an Australian archivist will be suggesting to a regional conference of archivists in Brisbane next week.

Matthew Gordon-Clark says this may be the only way to preserve information for future generations about countries which could one day find themselves underwater.
